AoO are turned off in the difficulty that Thain is set to, so that doesn't really matter.

I believe the lay on hands do stack and you actually get an additional use per day out of the lay on hands with both CoT and Paladin taken.

CoT also do get discipline as a class skill, which is why Eloril actually has ranks in it.

AoO are off? Are you serious?

I dont think AoO are off... given that a bunch of kobolds took me to school for moving to reach my target.

If you have the Spring Attack feat, and find that you are still getting AoO against you, you just aren't using the feat right. The wording of the feat is kind of particular.

"Enemies do not get Attacks of Opportunity against the character when the character is moving around in combat."

So, you receive the benefits of the Spring Attack feat as long as you continue to click on things to attack/bash. You do not receive the benefits if you just click to move somewhere, or try to move with the keyboard. It took me some time to figure this all out, but that is how it works.

So, it becomes very tricky to try to leave combat and avoid the AoO that you might normally get. If movement comes as a result of clicking on something, that usually works, but clicking on the ground or using the keyboard doesn't work.

I might experiment some more with the kobolds and goblins to see what else I can learn about it.

I'm certain AoO works as normal. Many times have I attempted to drink a potion only to be backstabbed outside the normal order of attack.

Ahh, that makes a lot of sense Niv. I couldn't figure out why my character with Spring Attack was getting them for running away. Thanks.

Spring attack works fine for me. I never get AoOs in combat, whether running away or clicking to fight.

I get tumble checks against a few things like the malar panthers, but that is about it. The rest of the time, Cathe doesn't ever get AoO's, whether running from combat or between critters.
