Since the thread has been effectively high-jacked.
One question about the AoOs and sneak attack. Many things like drinking potions, casting spells (not defensively), etc will draw them. However in the 3.0 rules none of these leave you flat-footed. For a character to get a sneak attack with an AoO they need an epic feat, so no non-epic character could ever do this.
In PnP I am used to letting my stoneskin absorb the damage and just casting my spell. I often forget that when surrounded in Thain, and get killed by goblins sneaking attacking when I cast. I would have to check the SRD, but I believe it is still the case in 3.5E that AoO are never sneak attacks. Anyone know why this change was made?

(on hijack topic)
I just think AoO's are one of the trickiest things to get right in a cRPG, and it's clearly one of the areas where things are different to PnP just to fit with the engine.
Moving out of combat should not provoke an AoO - provided you do not attack in that round and do not move into a space threatened by another creature. But I think the asyncronous rounds nature of NWN means they can't really tell if you are disengaging proper.
Thrandir makes a good point - drinking potions etc should not leave you flat footed, but I think in NWN to force the action to go through they've probably got some kind of clear all actions command which takes you out of combat and thus flatfooted until you attack again.

On topic:
Paladin and CoT levels do stack for the amount healed with Lay on Hands. (paladin level + CoT level)*(CHA modifier) The paladin and CoT uses per day do not stack. (The 1 use per day will show up on both the paladin and CoT radial menu, but if you use the LoH for paladin, the CoT one will also be used up, and vice versa.)
This is the same case for Smite Evil. The damage stacks for paladin and CoT levels, but if you use a "paladin smite", it also uses up a "CoT smite".
(Oh, and aren't paladins and CoT's supposed to get additional smite attempts as they gain levels, similar to how barbarians get more rage uses? I thought it's a shame that's not implemented...)

Really? I tried a Paladin/COT for the HoU and if I use the lay on hands from one, the other is greyed out as well. Even put them both on different quick slots to check. As soon as one is used, both slots would go grey. Maybe I set it up wrong and used the feature from the same class twice, but I was pretty sure they were both greyed after one or the other was used, even on the radial menus.

This was back long before I started on Thain, so there have been like 6 updates since then and I had alot of hak and overide stuff, so it might be coming from there. I also did some of the bridge modules with it. *loved getting the holy avenger then before that drow stole it*
