Strange ailments have been cropping up among the Greenvale troops stationed in Davenshire. Although some suspect that improper disposal of the dead on the battlefield is the cause, the sickness seems to be spreading faster than what would be expected for a siege of this kind.

The Sinking of the Fort

For many months, the crater lake fort has sat abandoned. Once a tower controlled by the dark sorceress Nayritha, the fort has been quiet now for some time. Merely the ruins of a battlefield for a war fought in years past.
Now, rumor has it that nature has begun to take its due. Ruined and battered, the once-proud fort has begun to sink into the waters. The shifting of ancient stones has blocked old passageways, and revealed new ones.
It is said that strange and unnatural beasts wander what remains of the courtyards now. Creatures unlike any the island has seen. It is said that caverns can still be found beneath, hinting at the mysteries of what happened within those old wars.
The rumors speak of groaning voices coming from the walls. Could something still be alive, deep within?

Many of the citizens of Steinkreis seem to have awoken, as if from a dream. They say that they had heard voices in their heads, but no more, and that they have little to no memory of the past weeks or even months. Rumors flow that a party of adventurers was seen entering the sewers below the city, but it is unknown if the two actions are connected.

It has been reported all over from the Northlands to Sandburrow Bay of a great white stag talking to people. Normal folks not druids or rangers. The stag called himself Justin and was trying to recruit people to prune the shrubbery of evil. Promised plenty of ale to be had.

Mysterious parchments are hung up in Steinkreis' lowtown and even parts of the back alleyways. They bear only a sketching resembling a Belladonna plant, with a trumpet shaped flower and a berry set against a pointed leaf. The parchments bear no writing on them.
