In the days following the rumors of the locations sacked, further rumors speak of a potential small but rising gang within the Iron City, selling much needed supplies to those that might know where to ask for such, supposedly at a price much more affordable then what is presented to the general public at large.

A ship flying the flag and colors of Cormyr, arrived in Sandburrow bay, why a vessel from Cormyr docked or how it made it to the waters around Thain is unclear, but only one passenger left the vessel. A person rumored to be a knight, of course these can all be attributed to the drunken ramblings of a few shore-leaved sailors.

A note can be found pinned to walls of common rooms, taverns, and the stalls of friendly merchants throughout the island---Hamley, Sandburrow, Feywood, Steinkreis, Greenvale, Hammersong, Webster's Landing and the Northlands. The note's message is clear. The wars are ended, yet there is work to be done. It is an invitation and a calling all at once: join with us, together we will make our island safer and give rest to those who have fought so courageously on our behalf.

A commotion shook the halls of Hammersong late one recent evening. From deep within their inner forges a balor erupted forth, spewing shadow and flame in its wake.
The guards were quick to expel the creature and rumor hastily spreads that trailing behind it was a dark elf, one of their women, missing one hand and wrapped in a blackened cloak.
A trail of ash and soot remained from the forges to the Hammersong gates for nearly a day before it was cleaned. The guards at the gate claim the balor took flight near the great bridge, headed with the one-handed drow on its back towards the mountain peaks.

The guard force of Steinkreis is on high alert after a manor in the Blackmere District was found to have been broken into and the inhabitants killed. Only a child escaped, who ran screaming to the guards that a dark woman, a large puppy, and a trio of shadowy figures killed both his parents as well as his tutor. Investigators are looking into the situation, and anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Court rumors fly as the Lord Protector of Steinkreis issues a series of proclamations decreeing a grand festival. But on their heels are the rumors of Bargus' strange moods of late, of his long walks around the castle grounds in the middle of the night under heavy guard, and of the lines of worry which crease his face, belying the hopeful and optimistic tone of the decrees...
... Meanwhile, in a back-alley tavern in Lowtown, a man crumples up one of the proclamations, for they have been posted all over the city, and even the roughest of the back alleys seem to be anticipating this particular event. But as this man leaves the tavern, those huddled over the empty barrels that serve for tables in this establishment note that he, for one, is not smiling. And when he looks at them, for just a split-second as he walks out the ramshackle door-- well, they were already fairly drunk, and they will only have gotten drunker since then. Is it any wonder no one believes them when they swear on their mothers' graves that the man looked at them with someone else's eyes?

There was a recent attack on the gates of the City of Elissara. A horde of slaadi killed the guards but was unable to make their way into the city. Are the creatures in Davenshire expanding their area of chaos? Are the slaadi seeking something within the city walls?

Rumors circulate around Dragon's Watch about the healer Brooklyn and a Thayan Captain escorting her asking around the Watch about families of Iron City Refugees, with a list of names being given to a few individuals to get back to her if any were to come up.
