Dear Journal,
Well I know it's been a while since I wrote to you, and trust me there's a reason. I've been busy. I woke up the morning after the goblin raid sore, but in a happy and decent mood. I decided to take a warm up walk down to Davenshire that night and see Dalla about a pie. Ah pie. The Gods most perfect dessert. Besides cake. Anyways when I got there I heard Mara's wonderful voice. I didn't see her, but I heard her. Then I realized what a moron I was and looked up. There she was. Looking pretty as always and sitting with Cypher and Karayan. I decided to go sit with them, and they started explaining to me that apparently Xerous had a double or something. Ummm did I wake up this morning in a cloud full of drugs? Because either I'm on them and tripping out like crazy, or my friends were all starting to get a little loopy. I wouldn't blame them though I mean Thain can drive any person to flip out every once in a while. Again I was wrong, because no sooner had I sat down in the cozy grass and got all nice and somewhat close to Mara then Xerous, Captain Blue himself, comes running out yelling at us asking if we saw anything. I tell you my friends are all going crazy. Apparently his double had went into Mya's and bought a ring and none of us even saw him walk out. Sneaky little guy. I never thought Xerous was that sneaky though, so this double must have some crazy new moves! Well we went to see Mya, and Mya said he bought an engagement ring and left. Xerous flipped and got completely frustrated by the whole situation, and then suprisingly it was Mara and I that had to calm him down. You know you think that tall folk would understand each other better, but eh *shrugs* Most don't really take the time to work things out. Well if that wasn't enough though we decided to do a bit of scouting for him later that day. Yeah so many plans and so many bad decisions I tell yah. See apparently Xerous had gotten himself into a flirtatious relationship with a theifling and well her mom's a devil and yah. I'm pretty sure having a devil as a mother-in-law has got to be a living hell *nods sagely* So lets be glad he's not actually married yet hmm?

Well after a pretty umm how best to put this? Unusual morning. Yeah I'll go with that. I was walking home on the North roads when I stopped some wolves from attacking. See to me wolves are just like furry puppies. All they really want is some loving and maybe a scrap of food or two. While petting one though I realized that it'd be really nice to have one of my own. A companion that can be by your side, faithful and always loyal. Yeah. That's honestly what I needed right about then. So I figured who's the best person to talk to wolves about? And then it came to me! Why Mr. Krin *smiles* I mean come on. He's essentially a wolf, without the fur, tail, ears and amazingly sharp teeth! So I sit and start discussing it with him, and he is surprisingly open about his what he calls "Pack" discipline. Ah. That is so cool you have no idea! I mean Hello! He runs with a wolf pack!! How awesome?! Pinch me somebody please! So I ask him if there's any chance that Shade could be like you know breeded? Cause I mean it would just be icing on the whole companion cake to have a pup that was from Shade's pack! Well anyways, Krin tells me how if I choose a wolf it's more like a pact and a spiritual bond between the two so it should not be taken lightly. I'd imagine so! What do I look like a teenager?! *looks at himself* Alright fair enough, I do look like a short teenage boy*sighs* Well he said he'd look for me and if he could find any possible way he'd see if there was wolf pack that had just had a litter. Note to self, Krin rocks. Well after that I kind of just went and did my heroic stuff you know? Safe the town, save the girl, if theres a giant monster attacking a villiage vanquish it before it burns down the city. A normal day actually. Well when I came back from my knightly duties I saw Krin, Cypher and Mara. Seriously how great can this day get? Not much better I don't think. But then it totally did! I started talking to Mara and stuff trying to be all cool and collected. However talking to Mara for me is like I'm a giant icecube and the longer I stand there I'm just going to melt away from my nervousness, and her beauty. Seriously. Look at the girl next time!
Krin had a surprise for me though, even more awesome! Apparently a litter of abandoned wolves had been left in the forests west of Feywood. How can you say no to the cuteness of abandoned puppies?! So what do you think happened next? We totally went to see them! It was awesome. Mara came too cause she said she can tell cuteness and could help me pick the best one. Something in the way she said that made me blush, you tell me. You tell me. Mara and I talked on the walk apparently she owns a minature of a brewrey and stuff. However she does seem really scared of that Pariah woman lately. What's up with that? Must check in and maybe possibly help comfort her by putting in a little extra Peter's Cuddly Time I open it up to all women in need, but primarily Mara. Oh right the wolves! Damn it! See we get there right and there they are these two large very muscular wolves. They look like adults to me, but Krin says their probably only teenagers. Krin distracts the female while I go for the larger male. I know. Call me insane. I do do some crazy stuff! I go over to the wolf, and he starts growling at me. Bad sign. I then try to pet him, and amazingly it worked!! Holy Biscuts! The wolf actually stopped and let me pet him. Krin was rather impressed if I do say so myself, but then he started training me how to communicate with it using my thoughts. He made me put my forehead to the wolves and send good calming thoughts to him. Personally I don't think I've been calm for months with all of the craziness going on, but I did it. I sent warm soothing thoughts to the wolf, and he nudged me once or twice. There was a point in it though we're I lost control. Mara ran up the tree at that point, I think she got scared. Poor girl. I swear if she needs comforting afterwards I will be more than happy to oblige. Ummm oh damn it!! Where was I? Oh umm the wolf right! Well Krin told me that that action was an establishment of dominance, if you can stop it he'll realize you are a good hunter and can maintain control. Awesome. So I tried, And it worked! He calmed down just like before. Krin said the next step would be to find out his name to make the bond on a personal level. So I put my head to his forehead and asked what his name was. All of the sudden all of these thoughts rushed into my head! Me and him running in the wild and I saw him howling at the moon while I was standing by his side, and then it came to me. Roxas. I heard it clear as day. After that he licked my face and started nudging me playfully. Following that Krin looked at me and said Well I guess you are officially adopted. Ah it feels good to have a friend that I can always have by my side now.

I went to sleep that night excited and full of thoughts in my head. One was this dream of me and Mara and we were riding Roxas only Mara was*trails off* Umm. I better not write that in here.*blushing* If Mara were to ever read this I might be in for a world of embarrassment. Well I woke up the next morning and well what should happen but apparently a National Hin Convention that I was not aware of. There was Rick, Beth, Argoth, Jaleh, and Prikket. I swear we need to make a sign for that tree that says Rightsized Meeting Area That way everyone will show next time. Well anyways Beth starts talking about how there's these thugs in this sewer. Oh no. Not that sewer again! Anything but that! But I mean eh come on you can't pass up an oppertunity to be heroic and such. Remember save the village, save the world *nod nod* Well apparently we all decided to go. All six of us. We head down to the rat sewers. Oh joy and rapture! The beasts are everywhere, and someones been putting a bit too many steroids in the water supply. These guys are huge! But let's all remember the old adage please! The bigger they are the harder they will most certainly fall. We all plow through the rats and scower that whole sewer, Along the way we find out that they are looting the sewage for gold and other dropped essentials. We even found a crate with some ancient gold coins! Treasure hunters*pause* in a sewer. Well we find out that they are all working for this Ratte guy. Who the hell is he? We scower the place and guess what we find. Well first we found this amulet, but it landed right off the side of the walkway and Beth decided to dare and go get it. The girl almost fell in because Hey! Her boots are leather and slippery from all this sewage do not blame me for not being able to get a grip! After actually managing to get the amulet, aquired by your's truly. Guess what else we found. Another hin. Yep. Ragrin feel through the floor upstairs and landed on the ground. Yep what an entrance!

Well after he brushes himself off and gets aquainted with everybody we head out. Now this is the part where it goes from cool to crazy awesome! We go in bash in a few rats and then find a downstairs passage way. When we get downstairs we find out, there's an underground chamber that leads to and underground old relic city! Someone pinch me! Because I'm doing what my father does, but I am in no way an archeologist. I can't tell heads or tails of a relics writing! Well what we saw there was this big open room and on either side there were pillars. Made out of skeleton bones. Oh boy! A real life adventure now boys and girls! Well so we get there and the first thing you see across this huge pit hole is a giant ancient dragon statue. Now I'm not one to like totally freak out over cool and awesome stuff, but WOW WAS THAT THE MOST AMAZING THING IVE EVER SEEN!! Other than a real dragon of course. We examine the place. There are two giants statues and then this big dragon one with a person that looks like it's either praying or being burned alive. I can't quite tell. But what I can tell you is that sheen from that black stone the dragon was covered in was amazing. I slide over to look at it. Just one touch. Please! That all I need! Just so that I can say I touched an ancient dragon statue and nothing happened and I lived to tell about it. No sooner than did I even have the thought then Jaleh stepped in and yanked my ear. Umm. Is it just me? Or are more women finding it ok to touch me? Because if so I am totally ok with it! Come to think of it you know Jaleh is ummm quite the attractive girl. Bit forceful for my taste, but umm mark as a suitable prospect if this thing, which I guess isn't even really a thing, between me and Mara doesn't work out? You bet your sweet grammy's apple pie! Well we go back upstairs. My thoughts still on the dragon, and Jaleh. Damn it. Stop thinking of women! I wanna touch that dragon some day least I hope I can. Anyways we head out and find Ratte's lair. It's a really cool swinging pad I guess, if you're a rat. Bash bash stab stab squeek squeek ekk ekk! That should about cover the battling part of the story. I rest my case. We go in we see Ratte and Beth needs an amulet from him, so what happens? He asks for CHEESE!! SO you are telling me we came all the way down here, fought you're whole army of thugs, burst in you're doorway and ask for an amulet and instead of being the slightest bit worried that we could possibly kill you you want CHEESE?!! This is a psycho rat. So *sighs* We now have to go get him cheese, but that will have to wait for later because I have to go take a shower now. I smell like raw sewage, and no woman will ever think you are cuddly if you can't even get close to them enough to cuddle!!

Well I am pleased to inform those who will read this that I cleaned up and got all sparkly clean. Rat funk is not the nicest smell in the world to be carrying around with you. After I got dressed I headed out to the fire and There was Willow and Krin and a few others and Willow was saying how he wanted to head south so he could find these relics. Now I am never one to turn down what sounds like a great adventure so I asked if I could go along. They both approved and we headed out. I hop on Roxas because, honestly it's sometimes hard to keep up with these tall people when their strides are like double the size of yours! I catch up with the group and as I ride in on Roxas everybody's staring at me. What you all have never seen a hin ride a wolf before?! Losers. Anyways all of the sudden as we're standing there talking to each other the ground shakes and out of the ground rises*pause* Val's Dad. He's this wicked looking sorcerer dude, and he was telling us how to prevent events with Xerous was by using a stone. He gave the stone to Krin and like it was really confusing, but apparently Val's daddy doesn't want her to marry Xerous either. Hmm? Parental differences? Ok. Umm I would not want to be at the house when that arguements going down! So yeah if that wasn't confusing enough I just have an even more confusing thing, Thayans walk up on the South Coast guard post. Wow. Do I feel like a jerk now. You know that feeling when you're foot decides to swing up and kick you in the back end because of the fact that you screwed up. Yeah. I had that feeling. I had called out Tanna when all she really was trying to do was warn me. I asked the guard lady and she said she was on duty so yeah umm time to apologize? Me thinks so. After that I decided to take my anger and frustration of the whole ordeal out on some sea hags with Ash and Theven. Those sea hags *shakes head* They make ogres mums look sexy! So we decided to do the rest of the world a big favor, and end their ugly that was infecting the good looking population of Thain. Sad though cause they literally scared the poop out of Roxas! He ran over in a corner and cowered and yeah*pauses* Stuff. We fought them off, and after a long fought battle headed back to the Trade. I love a good fight though. Makes you feel good!

Well as we were headed back though we saw Teron and he didn't look in very good shape if you ask me! I asked him if he thought he needed to go home and he replied, Yeah I think that would be best. So Ash, Theven and I start escorting him home when about half way something happened. His head hurt, he fell to his knees, and I swear to you, if I'm lying I'm dying! He turned into a BALOR! And out of his mouth came this raspy devilish voice that said Back off! This one is mine now! Teron still had a bit of thought and as he looked at us his voice protruded from the balor and said RUN! Now I'm not one for orders, but yeah I trust friends. I booked it like a crazy man, and even started warning people on the road. However, it seems that people don't really take a pint sized halfling seriously these days!! What the hell?! I say Balor! You say Crazy! I say Run! You say Later! What is going on in peoples heads?! Then I heard that they were going to go kill it if it was such a threat. Now as much as on any normal occasion I'd agree with them. Teron is one of my best friends! Ain't no way I'm going to let a bunch of hot shot won't listen somebodies kill him without listening to me first!! This didn't turn out to well. I had a group of tall people telling me that I was a childish imaginative welp. Welp? Welp? You want to see welp? Woman I will welp you over the head if you talk to a Rightsized Knight like that again! Of course I can't even say that because I mean Rules and Regulations and all that knighty stuff. I have to be diplomatic you know? Cause I mean if I seriously went around saying how I felt all day. People would really start to be like Pete! Holy Cow! You are awesome, and awful, and amazing at the same time! I go back to see if Teron was ok, and there he was just laying down. I found out later from Teron that apparently he used to be in necromancy, and recently a demon had contacted them. He warned Teron that if he didn't agree to this binding that he'd kill Nat. Yeah sick devil. Teron needs my help, so I'm going to keep a watch on him till it clears up. I don't want to see either of them hurt.

Well after all of that I headed to Hamley. I was so stressed, and so tired lately I just needed a place where I could chill. However when I got to Hamley I meet a nice hin named Davi. He's a bard and he said that he'd seen Mara around Hamley. Oh great! Mara's here? And me with stress up to my eyeballs, danger locked round my fingertips, and yeah almost every friend I have having something life threatening happening to them. The last thing I need is romance to worry about too, but damn it all! Mara is the one girl that I can talk to that makes me feel good. She has this weird ability to make me confident and shy all at the same time. Go figure! Well after I talked to Davi I took a quick nap inside the Roadhouse, when I walked out, guess who? Mara. Staring me right in the face with those cute eyes and all that cuteness that you just have to bottle up because it's so cute type cuteness you know? Yeah well apparently we got to talking and I finally realized something. Never have thoughts about you're crush while you are talking to them. It's hard though!! I mean honestly if you heard our conversation! She was talking about showers, and then Krin showed and he was talking about his wedding, and how the Source see's all and yeah well on thing led to another and for some reason I got this very very umm inticing image in my head. Problem with that is when you are trying to act all cool and spiffy in front of your crush, you tend to screw it up somehow and yeah. My elbow slipped off the doorframe and I fell. What?! I can't help it! She's beautiful! I think I drooled honestly, but can't tell for sure because well my face was covered in grass and stuff afterwards. Remind me to avoid talking to Mara when she's talking about showers, or anything where I might get images of her*pauses* in the nude *nods* Well umm yeah on a side note I think I pulled it off she seemed to be interested in me, and I guess shy cute is better than goof cute right? Yeah. We can only hope! I went to sleep after that, and let's just say dreams happened that I never thought my little head could conjour up *blushes slightly* It was quite umm amusing

Woke up the next morning happy and well nervous, because it was Auction Day! Ah Auction Day probably the worst thing I've ever been a part of. It made me so nervous I think I wanted to vomit, but eh you know when you get up there and look down. There she was. Mara. In the front row cheering me on! Oh wow! Make me feel like a hero and a zero at the same time! I tried to be cute, but in all honesty I couldn't even be cute because I was shaking so much from nervousness. Then Riggs asked me to flex, and as I looked down to Mara. I thought, She is the one person that can make me feel stronger, and weaker at the same time. So I drew up all my courage that my body could muster I stood up there and I flexed. For some reason. I honestly think it was just the way Mara makes you feel like you are a totally different person*nod*My muscles buldged and felt like I could lift a freight train I kid you not! The men and women there were both kind of amazed. What have I been telling you people? Halfling Abs of Steel *grins* It comes from eating healthy and all that blade training I do. That or the stress is keeping me fit *shrugs* Mara ended up buying me too! I couldn't believe it! I think I literally fainted when I heard the words 11,000 for the pint size of sexah goes to Mara in the front row! slide from Riggs mouth. Well one, I'm happy as a clam in a sea bed! but two now I'm nervous as hell!! She ran her fingers cross the back of my neck though!! Umm how can I contain my attraction, thank the Gods we were in a public place! Cause that's just *drools on paper*Woops! Yeah well ummm so now I have to make dinner for her! That's going to be awesome! Although I think Riggs' comment really sent the ladies into a frenzy though if I may repeat *cough*See ladies? A man that is good with both his hands and his tounge! Damn me and my take on poetry and cooking! Well umm lets hope things work out. The rest of the night was cool too. Azel sold for a phenominal 150000! IT was OFF THE CHAIN! Now I have to believe him when he says 100 percent grade A dwarven sexiness *laughs*Well shoot I have to go get ready for my date *smiles*I will hopefully write back as soon as I can on the outcome of this said date *grins*

I can't really write very loudly so that's why I'm having to write very slowly. Mara is like*looks over his shoulder* Only a few feet away from me and I would hate to wake that bundle of cuteness this early. Well umm yah. Where to begin huh? Ha! Well umm lets see I was going to the Trade to see if Mara was going to be there when yeah kobolds. Great. Start a date out and you walk up in kobold blood and guts. Nice one Pete. Hey umm but it's cool I'm still safe! I asked Mara if I could go change. God she looked good! A white and yellow dress*pauses* Oh umm yeah right the date! Heh Sorry. So yeah I remembered that Mara wanted me to cook for her, and that she had said she'd like to go dancing sometime since she hadn't been in like FOREVER and a day! So I took this as an oppertunity. I slipped on my blue shirt, put on a bit of my colonge, you know did the whole Spit Polish thing. Yeah I hate to brag, but I clean up well *smiles* Before I left the Trade though I dropped off a note for Davi. Davi was a great bard at the Auction and I figured if I planned it all out he'd come in handy later. So I decided to take her up to the Opera House. What better place to go have a bite to eat and go dancing all in the same night? I know! I'm walking with Mara, arm and arm and honestly I think if you checked my heart it'd be beating a million miles a minute. I think Mara could see it pounding out of my chest for Pete's sake. Ok. Bad reference but you totally get my point! She was SO beautiful it was hard to actually focus on keeping my date in order. We walked up and at one point I said I assume you know where we're headed? She said Opera House? and then ladies and gents Cool Points for Pete Yeah, but I've still got a few surprises left up these sleeves, you'll see Awww you guys I have never been that cool and calm in front of a woman before! I don't know what it is about Mara though, she's different. She makes me feel all my emotions at once and I don't really know what to feel, but what I do know is that when I'm with her I don't ever want to leave *blushes slightly*

Well when we got to the Opera I opened the door for her and went inside. Now originally I had planned to cook for her, but apparently the House staff doesn't allow non professionals into their kitchen for fear of fires being started. What do I look like a 10 year old boy?! *looks down* Ah. Well I can see how you'd say that then. If I had my shirt off you wouldn't! Anyways the lady didn't let me cook, but they did make me a special order. My home favorite! Fried chicken with mashed potates and gravy and a cornbread biscut! Aww. That's like ten different versions of heaven on one plate people! So I gave Mara here's and I sat mine down. She order white wine, and I stuck to water, seeing as the last time I had alcohol in my system I acted like a dork around her. She started to ask me about my family history and wanting to get to know me personally. Now at this point Mara's like the one person I can trust with anything so of course I like devulge anything she asks of me. And it was really nice to get to know each other. Apparently she was a part of a theives guild before she came here. Hmm. Explains the spunky attitude then *grins* I like it. I told her about my family and how I had two sets of parents, one that had basically disowned me and then tried to come back into my life only to disown me again, and then my human family that adopted me and took care of me all the way up till I was old enough to leave home. Yeah. The date got quite personal. Mara was playing with her food, making little forts out of her mashed potatoes and gravy. God she eats like I used to, how cute is that!? I honestly think I was in heaven somebody pinch me make sure I'm not hallucenating and junk! So as Mara was finishing up her meal, I went over to the Opera floor, I opened the side door and just as I planned Davi was standing right there waiting. I told him that'd I'd like it if he could make this moment like really romantic and stuff you know? Cause I would honestly suck at playing an instrument, but Davi! Davi is off the charts people! I go back to get Mara, and I told her to follow me cause I had another surprise for her. She gave me a beaming smile and followed.
