So, GW2 became available for pre-purchase today. Anyone else planning on pre-purchasing it, and if so would you be interested in meeting up over the course of the beta events?

I have my Diablo 3 pre-order in place, I didn't know this one was nearing completion too .. dunno if I will pre-order .. I liked GW but didn't play it that much.

It might be a bit difficult now to meet up with anyone throughout the beta. I know the NDA for the current testers is still in effect.

Shouldn't be difficult to meet up. If we all pre-purchased than we're all in the beta and thus all under NDA and can talk about it amongst ourselves freely.

However, I suspect once the pre-purchase beta events start, the NDA will be lifted. After that point it seems kind of silly to keep the NDA around.

I've just pre-purchased as well. My GW Guru (and GW2 Guru) account name is "Astraeos". I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the beta events, but if I can, I'd love to meet up with a group of Thainites in Tyria.

So, first beta event is next weekend, the 27th through the 29th. I plan on spending a good majority of the weekend playing, likely focusing on WvWvW and PvP content, so as to not spoil the personal story/PvE content.

If you want to meet up, whoever gets on first should post their server here.
