I guess Deviant Art is cracking down on people using their work.
I have deleted my art albums even though I have not been asked to.
I gather you can use and edit but not post like I have though I have not charged anything for the edits.
I am still willing to do art edits but I would have to send them to people's emails rather then post on my website.
Even if I do not get any more requests I thank all I edited for. If you were thinking of getting a copy I still have them on my computer and I can send you via email.
Admins feel free to delete the whole art edit thread if you wish.

I am a staunch advocate for artists rights, it's nice of you to take your albums down however your usage may fall under fair use and/or adaptation (I believe the threshold was 20% change from the original work, but I'm not fluent in the DMCA) and even if not since you don't profit from your edits there is little the artist can do but ask for you not to display.
You are quite talented in your own right and I look forward to seeing more of your manips in the future.

Thank-you for the compliment. I did not know the origins of the images and just edited to be peoples requests.
Unfortunately I guess to some my art edits were almost seamless and looked like the artist did them or maybe they thought me a rival website.
I would have preferred the representative put just the indication by the original and say the art edits were done by the owner of the album. I would have preferred the person sent me an email of their intentions.
But meh not worrying about crying over spilt milk here and else where my edits are used as in game portraits and forum avatars.
