Can we have shouts enabled? It will be much easier to find a party IG with it rather than sending everyone tells. We can just put "Looking for Party - msg me" or something.

Online etiquette will keep players from abusing this system. Since most players are regulars, there shouldn't be a problem - it will help those of us who are less well known to find parties.

We used to have shouts. Trolls would come on and yell awful things in them and it was immersion breaking for the entire server.

Yeah. Shouts are pretty much something that shouldn't exist except for DM purposes. PMing is just as easy, and you reach multiple player groups that are out doing different things.

Even if shouts were enabled, it would be against etiquette to use it for purposes of finding a party or anything OOC really.

Players have very few IC reasons to use it so it was disabled quite some time ago.

Even if no trolls logged on to abuse the Shout channel, it would - to say the least - be somewhat immersion breaking to suddenly see "LEVEL 5 FIGHTER LFG!" in jarring yellow text in between lines of RP/dialogue. So, no.
