I was impressed by the sheer number of people here and the genral good welcoming feeling. its amazing how old school comes back to you. I am impressed with the quick code scripts. Getting use to commands I think will be my greatest challenge having been used to three other systems.
I do have one suggestion and maybe this has been mentioned in the past.
If there could be some sort of afk indicator. So far I have seen two types. One type is person types afk or brb abd they glow indicating they are afk. The other is you type in afk and you get a banner sticking out of your back.
I had to go afk and let a few people know in a tell and went off somewhere to hide. However, because there is no visual clue a dm ported me for some hijinx which I thorughly enjoyed. Luckily I was near the computer to let them know I was not back yet.

I like the idea of an afk indicator. There is a chat command /redglow that would be easily achievable. Perhaps a script doing something similar by typing the chat command /afk

Emergencies come up where you have to step away a moment. In my case I get pulled away in an instant. A simple chat command vs creating a placeable and naming it seems like it would be more trouble then its worth to step away for a moment. My two cents.

I don't see the need? First off, redglow is used for RP purposes (what will the rift-infected do?), and honestly you can just type "// afk a few" like everyone else just as fast. If you're in a place with other PCs, they'll see it and know, and if you're not then there's no issue. Worst case scenario you get tabled by someone.
More like best case scenario. It's an honor to be tabled. It is said that if we table a hundred PCs in thirty days then Dithered will return to us.
It comes down to "can an active builder create a command that provides a long "zzz" effect" and the answer to that is... uhh... maybe, I can't actually speak for them because I'm not one of the builders. I just audit merchants and do Jewwe's tax paperwork lest his tesla coil security system get discovered by the authorities.
I'll mention expanding /commands in the appropriate channels and see if I can get ahold of the builder that did the /commands and beat answers out of him.

I wonder if redglow and shadows work together...
But you could always add an "/afk" that creates a glow around the caster like they are in the spotlight and they randomly say "I am a pwetty, pwetty pwincess."
