In The Before Time, when the server was running on a 486 with dialup (or so it seemed

) going AFK was frowned upon and players were encouraged to just log off or got booted by a DM. I don't really see a problem with idling for short periods of time and having some kind of visual cue to represent that so maybe some kind of AFK flag feature will be added. However, it will not provide immunity from DM mischief and idling away your death timer will still get you the boot.
