Discord codes usually expire fairly quickly. So, use it ASAP.
Most Thain players use it for text messages, posting screenshots and RL topics. Rarely for voice comms, I can recall only one instance in the past two years in which I got a fellow player to join me in its voice channel.
First, a very small history lesson; When Bonesly was hosting the server, he actively refused to let people donate to keep it running. I can entirely understand his position in the matter - I do not like taking charity from people, because that is what it feels like, however we try and mask it.
For reference, this is the thread where such a thing was previously discussed: -Clickedy-
But.. Times change. I recently discovered that the server is actually pretty damn expensive in electricity alone. Upwards of $60/month.
So.. I am now open to recieving donations via Paypal and regular bank transfer.
Donating is in no way required to keep playing on the server.
Refusing to donate is perfectly okay! This is entirely voluntary!
Refusing to donate will not make you a freeloader!
Donating will not win the hearts and minds of the Staff. You will not recieve any special treatment. You will not recieve phat lewt. You will, however, recieve the sincere gratitude of a Serverhost
If you still wish to donate, use the e-mail (-email-) in my profile and transfer the amount you wish to donate via Paypal or contact me via PM if you are unsure how it's done. There's also the neat little button on the right side of the page, underneath the Now Playing list! If you would rather use a more direct methon (Like a regular bank transfer) throw me a PM and I'll explain how!
Aside from helping to pay the bills for electricity and internet connectivity, any surplus amount will go towards future upgrades and replacement parts for the server.
In advance, I want to say thank you. Every player on Thain makes this a truly great community.

To add onto that, I took over hosting the forums from Falkala a while back, and currently pay for that hosting, while Squidget hosts the actual server itself. I haven't set up a donation link for the forums either, and I don't really intend to at this point.
