Somewhere, in the tainted woods of Feywood, a songstress sang a whimsical song. She used no instruments, but her voice was a lull all of its own. And in that grove, where the songstress sang, flowers were in full bloom. Flora reborn in the land of taint, as if the rift no longer holds here. Is it sanctified by hope, or by the power of the divine? This, she does not know. Is it a small occurrence, for the land to be tainted again soon? It may very well be.
Yet, she came again to this grove, with purpose; to sing a song of truth, which her muse has led her to write. One of the shadow who was able to pull away from the rift, and come to remember who she was, and the woods of which she called home.
If you were to hear her song, will you sing along with her? Would you listen...?

The maiden died with a wish, one that took her very life. To take away her enemy, and all that caused the strife.
And there she was, amongst the stone, no bread to bake again. Now a shadow, wonders why, no memory is of life, she once had lived.
Protect the stone, above all costs. Listen to its whispered lies. Until a songstress came along, and sings a song, this the rift fought and despise.
And with this, the shadow, she remembers now. Her people, the elves and wood of the Fey. With song and will, they both return.. To the woods, where she dropped her tainted sword,
Where she say...
I will not wish again death, on any people. My wish is not of any nature of sin. It is to have hope and song, renewal. In this grove, new growth begin.
Those who live within the high walls of the Watch would swear they could hear something, or someone, howling in some form of anguish within the Tower of the Five.

The streets of Greenvale are awash both in rumor and blood as the day dies down into evening. The city had been attacked by Poisonwood, leading to a large number of casualties before the poisoned elves were driven back from the city. But, even stranger, was a sight unseen by the elves in an age: the high council of Feywood had come to the city in person. They were present for the attack, and some say Councilman Unebrion was even direly wounded, surviving only thanks to the skills of a nearby healer.
And so it was, that on the very day of a vicious attack, reminiscent of the worst days of the war with the darkfey, that estel, that hope, was kindled again in the hearts of the elves. It had been an age since the northern elves had come to Greenvale in this manner. Perhaps it was a sign of renewed friendship, of remembering that long ago they all came from the same Elisara.

Whispers in Steinkreis talk about a small group of well armored men in similar gear arriving in the city. They moved with purpose and discipline, and some even claim they overheard them saying they are a visiting Foreign mercenary group, and were seen heading into the Blackmare district.

A demon-summoning ritual took place by the southern gates of Greenvale, shrouding the defensive line in darkness and abyssal mayhem. The city was forced to send a number of Elisara's finest troops to tackle this problem.

Rumors have been spreading that Orikken, and his nan, have been seen collecting birds of diminished health. An exchange has been happening for birds brought to the gate of Dragon's Watch.
