INVASION IN DAVENSHIRE, HIN SLAUGHTERED

An invasion force of an endless number have overrun Davenshire. The foreign soldiers tore through the unsuspecting Davenshire and took control of the resource rich town that borders the Thayan Enclave in the South. To consolidate their dominance and ensure control harsh punishments and means have been declared. Any attempts to rescue the city from these cold blooded killers will result in the death of Hin for every single Thiroth soldier killed or deemed missing. This has led to the needless deaths of a harmless Hin as Thiroth soldiers are fought by adventurers and other murderers who want to see the town suffer. As an additional discouragement rumour has surfaced that the blockade of Thiroth’s Naval Fleet has threatened to bombard the town by cannon fire if the Thiroth forces are forced to withdraw or are defeated.

This has come at a devastating time when the Hin are fighting a demonic force that attacks the Ridgeshield and were unable to fight on two fronts. The Thiroth appear to have set guards with the Davenshire defenders but ultimately leave the Hin to suffer the brunt of battle. The Hin’s natural defence once again failed them as it has before the Second Great Cataclysm when the town was overrun by the Vandal Hawks with the aid of the Dawn of Shadows.

No official statement has been reported from any of the towns, cities and villages or from Thiroth themselves. Adventurers and guilds are in uproar and the violence does not appear to be ceasing any time shortly. In short the town appears to be continuing trade under its new rule and while visitors are wise not to pay attention to the Thiroth and show them respect, they have not been outwardly aggressive to outsiders.

Demons On Davenshire Ridge

Before and since the conquest by Thiroth forces, Davenshire’s Ridgeshield has been attacked after dusk every night by demons and they continually throw themselves at the Ridgeshield defenders till the dawn in which has been a very blood and tragic battle for the Hin and only the assistance of adventurers and the meagre help of the Thiroth have held back the demons from passing over the ridge into Davenshire as yet the demons do not seem to head North to the Thayan Enclave or through the Moribund Bog towards our lovely city of Steinkreis.

Slaadi Luvin’

It has been uncovered that the Slaad monster has taken a shine to the Common Races and hosting an All-Race-Free-Luvin’ at their West Wasteland Cave Lair in the Drakamyre. Yet we issue this warning for those who don’t mind a bit of the other, least to be feared is their gigantic tongues that are rumoured to be rough and easily wrap a Human in one quick lick. We look forward to hearing about Slaadi mating habits in our next edition from one lucky Luvin’ citizen.

Horses Worse Than Invaders
As a Hin living in Davenshire I am willing to co-exist with our foreign occupiers but I draw the line at being literally knee deep in horse dung. It is alright for the bigger-folk who can wipe it off their boots after it dries but it not only dampens the day but everywhere else too when one of those great steamers hits the ground next to an expecting Right-Sized. It is my solemn wish these bigger-folk will employ some of their own to clear up the mess and quite frankly Davenshire never smelt this bad till they turned up.

Threat of the Razor

The Razorfangs have sent what appears to be a scouting party to the cave on the Trail to the north-west of the Crossroads that used to house the spiders. Warning to the innocent and unprotected to avoid walking near the forest or at night.
