During the meeting with the Regent, the topic of religion and worship of deity came up. Bargus had asked Aaron whom he held as a patron deity. He of course offered the god he served in his home land, Paladine, but also included Andarus. He could not help but grasp the amulet that hung from his neck bearing the symbol of the god of light, as Bargus recounted the god who sacrificed himself for the island. He was spurred by a statement from the Regent. “It is said that a god is not dead if their followers hold faith.” This reminded him of the book written by Hayleigh and what was told to him by the Lore Master from Greenvale. Aaron was sure that there must be people on the island that still held Andarus in their hearts. One reason he took a home in Hamley was because of the presence of the Empyrean forces who worshipped the god of light. He had found few thus far that had much information about Andarus, perhaps he could find answers among the Empyrean troops. A smile graced his face as he thought of the potential to restore such a force on the island.
