 Out at sea on the west coast, it was now a common sight to see the storms brewing. Inching ever closer to the shore edges.

Either it be out of madness, or just a trick of the eye, but reports have come back with having seen a ship out on those troubled waters.

One common link betwen every victem is a mysterious festering smelling goo found at every scene. Little is known about the exact cause as no one seems to have witnessed it...and lived.

 A pale elf giving the name Issvyn may be noticed visiting various locations around the isle on unrelated business and asking after the whereabouts of Jacen, and Elwrath.

Verbal messages are being left with certain people, more in hope than in expectation, urging either or both of these two to visit the Cobblewall Inn as soon as possible, "or the woods to the west". The elf is very specific on that point.

There are no further details.

 As the the combative games ended and the spectators began to trickle away, a robed and hooded man came huffing over a rise. He was carrying a large, square, ironwood box with round holes perforating the top and sides, and appeared extremely disappointed that the competition was over.

 Rumors float around that the figures upon the beach seem to be continuing their work by night or day.

Some say they've seen these people drag in large sunken ships by magically powered gears which results in the large chunks of ship hulls have been brought in to make the buldings.

Others state that two giant ships have been seen off out into the dark and still slightly stormy seas, one looks weathered and black and seems to hold a sea beast.

Other rumors about possible invasions have sprouted up with no contact having been made yet - it seems possible.

 Sir Dampf Feuer has not been seen outside of Sandburrow for some time. Rumor has it he is preparing to excavate under the north cliff, using the same drilling machine he used to escape the ruins of Davenshire. He can often be seen walking between the Rightsized guild hall and Mirrorspark Lighthouse.
