What is the level of magic like on Thain?

The level of magic items is generally fairly low. You will not be able to buy or find anything above +3 (though DMs can and will sometimes drop items more powerful than this as rewards for roleplay). Additionally, there are very few immunity items on Thain, and no permahaste or permanent True Seeing items are available.

Certain spells have also been tweaked to balance Thain - please see the House Rules sticky for more information on this. Please note that this thread contains some out of date information, for a more accurate update, see here: updated technical details
