Tell you the truth, as someone that does play both spellcaster and stealthier, I do see both points of view very clearly. When spying on someone I always hated a random TS killing it. When I play at a spellcaster, having the all seeing eye was a great spell to have, however, I rarely ever used it.

I don't care whether the true seeing is nerfed, but I think if they did add +80 (low magic? pfft.) It wouldn't be much fun. *Shrug.*

On pretty much every server, low detection is a mage's acchiles' heel. On Thain, they don't really have one, unless a player intentionally builds one into the character. They're omnisciently invincible.

I care because, frankly, it's pretty boring.

I used to be one of the people who didn't want TS nerfed, but I think it's a good thing. As long as people get a decent chance at customizing gear to be more specialized.

It perplexes me that True Seeing is even a debate. It's one of those few things that puts casters in an unassailable position. Nerf it, and any mage worth their salt would still get by just fine, but at least then they'd have, y'know, an actual weakness and all. Too many people take reliable detection for granted.
